“Maybe we can’t change the world for everyone, but we can change the world for one.” ** ARC PROVIDED BY AUTHOR AND THIS IS MY HONEST REVIEW ** If you're looking for a book with a cute low angst love story that will make you feel like you're floating on a marshmallow fluff cloud? This book is definitely for you. There's enough heat simmering to keep people who really like the steam interested, but if you're looking for a couple that's getting busy ever chapter or two? This isn't it. But that's okay, because books need some sort of conflict.Īll The Stars is a dual POV, low angst, low heat love story. With the exception of one miscommunication that drove me insane, because of how easily some of the very light angst in this book could've been resolved. They were both very honest and open characters, and things that could've been bigger issues in other books were nonissues because of the way they communicated. One thing I loved most about this book was the communication between Bo and Ian. Bo is a trans man and while this is discussed, it is never viewed as a hurdle between Ian and Bo. Then there's Bo - Bodhi Anderson - who has just moved to town with his amazing sister, Lane.

Duckie Mack made me love him more, and I was absolutely intrigued by the way he viewed himself as Ian and himself as Crow as two sides of the same coin. Like from the start, so getting to read his story here was an absolute delight. We met Ian in All the Stars and I loved him there. It tugs at the heartstrings just the right amount and shows a beautiful love story between two men who share a meet cute and an instant connection. I received an ARC from GRR and this is my honest review.īo Next Door is the second book in the Love Bank series and is just as sweet as the first one. So I liked the book, I didn't love it but I'd still read more in the series if it was to continue. I think the star of the book was Bo's dog though, he completely stole it for me, but then I'm a sucker for dogs. I don't have any experience or real knowledge about trans people but I felt that part of the story was handled well. It's a sweet, low angst, low heat story of the two coming together. I liked this, I didn't love it and I don't really know why. I did like how Bo knew straight away that it was Ian under the Crow makeup. I did like how Bo and his sister met Ian/Crow at different times in his different personas without realising it was the same person. I remember with the first one I didn't feel all that connected to Rider and Cam and I still felt that way a little with Crow and Bodhi. I picked this up on the strength of the first book, and I remember being intrigued by Ian/Crow in that book so was looking forward to this one.
